Bedroom Window & Pegboard
My bedroom is all finished and I totally LOVE every bit of it! It is my favourite room of the house, I cannot believe how different it now looks. It feels so prim! The blind keeps the room light in the day and when closed, keeps it dark at night. I love how the tails have turned out. Sarah & Steve have done such a fantastic job on all the prim black furniture. The little chair you see under the window is a makeover I did, it was a chair that my mum bought for Beth when she was but two years old. Originally it was stained pine, but after a few hours of work this was the end result!

Wall Cupboard & Bedside Cupboard
The wall cupboard sits perfectly above the bed, with fabric covered books, stitchery board, antique baby boots and a new additon; the tin lantern. Beside the bed is a wonderful Make Do Candle Stand and above it an old wood bowl which I painted and aged. Just after Christmas, my fab new bedding arrived. I tell you what I dilemma Janet @ Winter Willow Primities and I had tracking this parcel, but at long last it found its way to Derbyshire! I can't tell you how much I love it, the bedroom is now all done and there isn't anything I would change, well . . . . . . . not yet, LOL!
Bedside Cupboard
The bedside cupboard has a shelf inside the door and is great for storage. On the top half is an aged tin lamp with one of my homestead dolls dressed in black and white. In the opposite corner sits a stack of bibles. On the bottom half is a simple aged tin skillet. Above the cabinet hangs a fab make do shelf with a couple more old bibles on the top shelf and a pair of antique baby boots on the bottom shelf.

The Fireplace Find
When the chimney breast was opened up, I was hoping and praying that there would be enough room to put a log burner in as this was the main reason for making over the bedroom; with ever rising heating costs, I wanted to try and use a burner in my bedroom to heat the first floor. Once the old plaster was taken down, lo and behold, hiding behind it, was the original fireplace opening complete with bricks and stone lintel. The little stove fits it just perfectly!

Bedroom Drawers & Antique Sieve
This has to be my favourite display in the bedroom, I just love the large old potatoe sieve; another find in an antiques store. The aged tin patriotic lamp, I love!!

I Love this Display So Much. . A Closer View!
